Leak Proof Part One • Liquid Impregnator • For Finer Voids

JPL LPPO (LeakProof Part One) is a brush/roller-applied liquid waterproofer that impregnates into the pores of the substrate and seals them completely. With a maximum film thickness of 55–60 microns, it forms a flexible, UV-stable, water-repellent film — ideal as a sealing topcoat over RCC, terraces, swimming pools, basements, and tiled wet areas.

Liquid Impregnating Sealer
Penetrates into pores and seals finer voids completely from within.

Product Overview

JPL LPPO is the liquid first half of the JPL Leak Proof two-part waterproofing system. It is engineered to impregnate into the capillary pores of concrete, plaster and tiled substrates and seal them with a flexible, water-repellent film. Used on its own as a sealing topcoat over LPPT, or as a stand-alone surface waterproofer for terraces and washrooms.

Pairs with JPL LPPT (paste, for deeper voids) for a complete waterproofing system on RCC, swimming pools, basements, sunken areas, and slab/expansion joints.

Technical Advantages

A flexible, exterior-grade liquid sealer that impregnates the substrate, locks out water at the pore level, and stays colour-fast under sun and rain.

1

Anti-Fungal

Resists fungal and algal growth in damp wet areas, basements and washrooms over the long term.

2

Exterior Grade

Engineered for outdoor terraces and parapets — handles sun, rain and thermal cycling.

3

Water Resistant

Forms a continuous water-repellent film with NIL water absorption per test data.

4

Tough & Durable

Polymer-bound film with more than 40% polymer content — holds up to foot traffic and use.

5

Indentation Resistant

Stays firm under point loads — won't dent or impress under normal use after cure.

6

Colour Fast

UV-stable formulation keeps the finished surface looking consistent over time.

Application Procedure — JPL LPPO

Terrace / Sunken Areas

  • Apply the first coat of LPPO on the RCC surface with a roller.
  • Let it dry completely — drying time 4–6 hours.
  • Apply two coats of LPPT with 45 GSM fiber mesh embedded between the two coats.
  • Apply mesh on the first LPPT coat while wet, then wait 4–6 hours before the second and final LPPT coat.
  • Finish with a second coat of LPPO using a roller for a smooth, sealed finish.

Tiled Surfaces in Tanks / Washrooms

  • Open up the grooves in the tiled surface and fill with LPPT (deeper voids).
  • Apply the first coat of LPPO using a roller in a criss-cross pattern across the surface.
  • After 4–6 hours, apply a second coat of LPPO.
  • Apply the first coat of LPPT with 45 GSM nylon mesh, let it dry completely.
  • Add a second coat of LPPT after a 4–6 hour drying period.
  • Finish the process by applying two coats of LPPO for sealing and protection.

Swimming Pools

  • Open the grooves and fill them with LPPO; apply in a criss-cross pattern using a roller for proper sealing.
  • Level the surface with LPPT, reinforce with 45 GSM nylon mesh, and let it dry completely before fixing tiles with LPPT adhesive.
  • Finish with two coats of LPPO over the dried surface for a smooth, water-tight finish.
